On December 1, Vanity Fair and famed photographer, adventurer, and advocate Sebastian Copeland co-hosted the grand opening of Vdara Hotel & Spa. This sophisticated LEED® Gold–certified hotel is inside CityCenter™, a new dazzling vertical city destined to transform the famous Strip. Copeland was joined by friends Orlando Bloom and Rosario Dawson, who toasted the launch of the Sebastian Copeland Foundation, dedicated to reporting on climate change from the front lines. More than 700 people enjoyed the modern, green space, including the unveiling of the 18,000 square foot, two-level wellness spa, Vdara Health & Beauty™, designed to illustrate that luxury and responsibility are not mutually exclusive. Guests were entertained by D.J.'s Donovan Leitch and Mathieu Schreyer, while guests dined on exquisite cuisine from Martin Heierling, Executive Chef of Vdara, and the resort’s contemporary, internationally inspired Silk Road restaurant.
